Bio:
William (Bill) is an accomplished Project Manager and Systems Expert with over 25 years of experience in the onshore and offshore industry, spanning roles in Asia, South America, and Canada. He has led multi-disciplinary teams to tackle some of the industry's most complex challenges. Bill has a strong background in both technical and operational leadership, including his recent role as Corporate Director of Operational Excellence for a major Canadian energy provider, where he enhanced safety, reliability, and efficiency across upstream, midstream, and downstream assets. Notable projects under his leadership include the Syncrude operatorship transition in Alberta, the Terra Nova offshore installation life extension, and managing engineering and procurement activities for Suncor’s East Coast assets. Additionally, Bill played a pivotal role in implementing Suncor’s Operational Excellence Management System, aimed at reducing operational risks and improving company-wide performance. His expertise extends to designing and executing management systems and overseeing large-scale projects with budgets reaching $500M.

Bill holds an Electrical Engineering degree and a Professional Engineering designation. Bill's credentials are further bolstered by a Project Management Professional diploma from York University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard University.
